Introduction to different branches

We have beautifully introduced ourselves to Physics in my previous article and today we will go one step further to discuss the different branches of Physics.

Heat and thermodynamics:
This branch of physics deals with the heat and how heat moves from one body to another. we have different processes through which the heat transfers, i.e Adiabatic process, isothermal process etc.

Atomic Physics:
This branch deals with the the study of the structure of the atom and tells us about the properties or the characteristics of the sub-atomic particles.

Optics:
Optics deals with the study of the lenses and this includes the study of how images are formed by different specimens i.e Concave and convex lenses. Interestingly the cameras we are using today in our phone or heavy high dimension cameras, we use to capture the memories of our lives and also the memories with our loved ones, are the true gifts of this special branch of the physics.

Mechanics:
We move from one place to another, earth revolves around the sun and rotates about its own axis, the cars, buses and the aeroplanes, we see all of them in state of motion most of the times. so to deal with the motion of the bodies we seek help form the mechanics.
Mechanics is further divided into two main branches, which are:
Kinematics: dealing with describing the motion and
Dynamics: dealing with the causes of the motion.

Electronics:
This deals with the study of the electric circuits, resistors,  diodes and logic gates etc.

Molecular Physics:
Atoms combine to form molecules, so to study the physical behavior of molecules and their dynamics we have a special branch of physics known as molecular physics.

Particle Physics:
Atom comprise of so many particles and we have discovered more than 100 particles uptill now which includes bossons, hadrons, gluons etc, so, particle physics deals with the study of the properties and how these tiny particles behave and interact.

Nuclear Physics:
This focuses on the atomic nuclei and the particles in the nucleus of an atom and how to generate the nuclear energy. We can generate a huge amount of energy from the nucleus and one of  the consequences of nuclear energy is the atom bomb.

Relativity:
This is the new door to get familiar with the secrets of the universe. The theory of relativity was proposed by Albert Einstein stating that the space and time are not absolute. There are two theories of relativity which are:
↠  Special theory of relativity: deals with the problems involving non-accelerated frames of reference. It has two postulates, which are as follows:
1st: The laws of Physics are same in all inertial frames of reference. (Inertial frames are those frames in which the law of inertia or newtons laws of motion holds).
2nd: The speed of light is same (3.0x10^8 m/s) in all directions in inertial frames of reference

↠  General theory of relativity: deals with the problems involving frames of reference accelerated with respect to each other..
