The mass of the black hole we have recently evidenced is about 6.5 billion times that of earth’s sun and it lies around 55 million light years from earth. Here is my understanding regarding the black hole we have observed two days before. That according to Sir Stephen William Hawking, black holes emit radiations and those radiations are called hawking radiations, meanwhile, we have the concept of the evaporation of the black hole. That smaller the black hole, quicker it will evaporate in form of radiations. And the time scale of complete evaporation is t ≈ 10 Gyr(M/10^12 kg). As the recent ‘monster’ black hole is far far away from the earth and it must took an appreciable period of time to reach its radiations to the lens of the event horizon telescope (EHT) so the original black hole must be evaporated in 55 million light years and it should not be of the same scale we have observed.
